Genealogy enthusiasts looking to discover more about their ancestors can today get their hands on tickets for the world's largest family history event, as Who Do You Think You Are? Live gets set to return in 2015.
Relocating to the Birmingham NEC after eight successful years at Olympia, London, Who Do You Think You Are? Live will run from Thursday 16th - Saturday 18th April 2015. The show, which is sponsored by Ancestry.co.uk, is designed to appeal to everyone with an interest in tracing their past, and will be packed with informative, interactive and new features.
Visitors will have access to leading genealogical experts, informative workshops, over 120 specialist exhibitors, archives and museums, major online resources and the largest gathering of family history societies. Family historians are also invited to learn how to use DNA in their research; bring photos, documents and heirlooms for expert analysis and listen to celebrities from the television series sharing their own family history stories.
Andy Healy, Show Director, says: “We are delighted to be bringing Who Do You Think You Are? Live to Birmingham and therefore providing a central location and better accessibility to the UK’s biggest family history show. A ticket to the show will give visitors the unique opportunity to explore their ancestry at the largest

gathering of genealogy exhibitors and experts under one roof. We promise no-one will leave without having discovered more about their family tree.”
Brad Argent, Country Manager from
Ancestry, says: “We are delighted to continue to support Who Do You Think You Are? Live for a further year. We very much look forward to meeting those who already share our passion for family history, and those who are completely new to the subject, at what promises to be a fantastic show at Birmingham’s NEC in April.”
The event is based on the popular television programme, produced by Wall to Wall (a Shed Media Group company), which celebrated its 100th episode earlier this year. To date, the series has seen the likes of Billy Connelly, Mary Berry and Minnie Driver trace their family trees to reveal the surprising, extraordinary and often moving stories of their ancestors.
