Will you be asking your stylist for 'A Thatcher'?

According to a Chelsea salon-owner there's been a surge of requests for a hairdo like Maggie's ..... I don't believe it! smile

Many years' ago I made my one and only visit to Harrods hair salon - I came out with a 'Harrods Helmut', a dead-ringer for Raine Spencer .... I was only about 30 at the time! grin

If a new hairdresser asks me how I want it, my usual reply is that he/she can try out a new style as long as I don't emerge looking like Margaret Thatcher or the Queen.

I'm going for highlights and a cut and blow-dry this afternoon and if I come out looking like either my hairdresser won't be coming round for supper ever again. grin

I once set my hair in rollers during the 80s and as I came downstairs I asked my then 8 year old daughter what she thought. She looked at me long and hard and said "You look like Mrs Thatcher."

I went straight back upstairs and washed the lot out! shock
