A friend forwarded me something on Facebook which asked "If you were kidnapped and had to be rescued by the last people you watched on TV - who would that be?" My answer would be Michael Weston and Sam Axe from Burn Notice so I would good. Who would be rescuing you?

Watched an old episode of NCIS last night so probably Gibbs.

Avoiding TV today as OH is watching the news on loop. [fed up with the whole thing]

I was watching an old film. Pretty sure most of the actors are dead so I have no chance !

The French and Irish football players- I would be fine, safety in numbers.

I have just watched the France match so I hope it would be one of their players.

Some bleddy footballer with a silly haircut,

James Bond. I would be sorted, but sadly it was Sean Connery in From Russia with Love, so it might take him a bit longer that it would have in those days. Still, better than IDS!

Not sure you can top WhenIwasyourage! Bond, James... Bond! she'd be rescued, little shaken, maybe stirred! I'd be stuffed. Just watched some clever women making knickers and things whilst waiting for Glasto. Rescued by large pair of pants?

Any of the Casualty cast, hopefully Jacob! Well, he`s dishy and looks strong enough......he`d need to be!

Since I am now watching a history programme on BBC4, it might have to be Dsvid Irving. I think I would rather stay and make friends with my kidnappers - Stockholm Syndrome.

annodomini Sun 26-Jun-16 19:43:43

Oh wait, there's a much dishier (and younger) historian on now, called Prof Greg Walker. He can be my knight in shining armour any time.

cornergran Sun 26-Jun-16 19:48:40

Watching Masterchef (recorded) - not sure about the rescue but at least I shouldn't be hungry!
