Please can anyone recommend a good site for free ecards? I received one once from a GN'er, and I also once sent one to Mr P without any problems (i.e. computer viruses etc)

Thank you!

I haven't used free ones, but Jacquie Lawson e-cards are about £7.00 for the year and you can send as many as you like. They're really good, especially as some of them have games with them.

Just had a look at that website and have added it to my home screen. I think I may be using them in future. Good idea.

I always use this free site. They are efficient and inform me when the ecard has been read. I have never had a problem, and I am a bit of a technonumpty!

Many thanks shysal that site seemed fine, I have sent the card! tchsmile

Mini I love the Jacquie Lawson cards, but they wouldn't have been quite "right" for this person.

I remember receiving a lovely Jacquie Lawson Christmas card a few years ago, a scene of a cottage that you clicked on to light the fire, the tree lights etc and there was a dog that came running in through the gate.

I do like JL cards. I think the only possible problem with free e cards is that they might sell on your e mail address - I have heard that this is how they make money.

Thanks, just used 123, excellent.

Ariadne That was the first thing that came to my mind, too! After all, they must make money out of it somehow!

I think DD once told me that she had met a very wealthy man at a party, and that was what he did.

The only thing with JL cards, and e cards as a whole, is that after a while I can't be bothered even to open them - just note who sent them.

BUT - the JL Advent Calendars are magical, and well woth the £2.00 or so. My DGC love them.

Friends of the Earth do free ecards. Of course, you can donate if you want to.
