So I was lurking 'on the other side' (Mumsnet) when I saw this www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/2439665-Omg-Im-getting-old-whats-your-evidence-Heres-mine

How to tell you're getting older. Obviously I ticked pretty much every box but then I realised - they are young. What does that make me?

Ha ha! How old are they??

I don't remember life being like that when I was forty-something!

You're older, Cari? Then I'm an antique. However, when I was early 40s I was playing squash, swimming regularly, doing three part-time jobs - four if I include Weightwatchers and organising an annual bbq for a well known charity. And I can still get up out of a chair without grunting, despite two replaced joints - or maybe because of them! What a lot of moaning minnies on the other side!
