What would you choose? this present may be bought for you by anyone, DH SO partner, friend, DD etc. They will never know, so feel free to be honest, but keep it within their real spending power( even though you may want a diamond necklace or a rolls.)DH alawys wants to buy me a surprise present for instance, so I never say what I really want.
This year I would like...... A dozen red half opened roses with ferny foliage
( not called roses for nothing!)

I would prefer a voucher for Amazon so that I could choose the Kindle books that I wanted. So many are so cheap that I would be in 7th heaven for £20.

A bracelet- diamonds preferably but just a sparkly one would do.

A Renault Captur. I considered buying one but could not justify the expense, as my current car is fine.

A box of Crystallised fruits. DH bought me a box from a supplier in Israel a few years ago, they were scrumptious unfortunately the firm are no longer in business. The Orange ones were my favourite.

One of those lovely old sewing boxes sometimes seen on the Antiques Roadshow, with all the contents and perhaps a hidden love letter or two tucked away inside some half finished embroidery.

Hmmmn, some of you are more easily pleased than others! grin The lottery indeed, impossible to wrap it up.

Some real Turkish Delight, bought from a little shop down a side street in Istanbul. A selection of flavours, but especially hazelnut. I bought some there while on holiday and no other Turkish Delight comes anywhere close for flavour and texture.
It's delicious.

Just musing here.... But, for the more reasonable gifts wanted on here, perhaps we should come out and say to our nearest and dearest, that this is what we really want?
