Well I braved my first Zumba class yesterday... I was full of trepidation and told all the other girls I would be leaving after 10 mins. One Lady left early but the rest of us stuck the full hour. As for me... I loved it!!
Now it is fast pace and energetic and it does really make you sweat so take some water with you, but it's really good fun too. She covered dances like Salsa, Belly dancing hip-hop... that sort of thing. I found you are so busy concentrating on the dance moves, you don't realise you are exercising
I hate any normal form of exercise class ie, aerobics, step etc but this just didn't feel like that sort of class at all and the time flew by. To be truthful I didn't jump about like the instructor did, but just paced my moves so I didn't burn out.
I did think that if I continued to go I would get a lot fitter so will probably try and find a class that suites me as the one I went to was only a "taster" session.
Go for it ladies.... if you like dancing I think you will enjoy this! :0 xx
