I was delighted to see that this wonderful film (starring Paul Schofield and Helen Mirren and set/filmed on the Isles of Scilly) has finally been released on dvd, and now available from Amazon uk. It is a beautifully made tale for children of all ages, and something you can share with grandchildren as a special gift. So very different from all these modern Hollywood 'blockbusters' I am sick of hearing about. Highly recommended!
