I didn't have my usual Saturday morning croissant today. I had toast (sourdough, though, very posh) and home-made marmalade.
In the week I have granola but I have tried them nearly all and there are only two I like. Is anyone else slightly obsessive-compulsive about breakfast or am I really weird?

Must have lots of protein in mine. I prefer bacon and eggs and sausage and mushrooms but it's too much bother so I have hard boiled egg (from my own hens), slice of liver paste, slice of Strassburg with cream cheese on, two sardines, and a few cherry tomatoes from the garden and perhaps a slice of cheddar.

I have porridge one day, then All-Bran the next - alternating throughout the week. In the porridge I put a few dates and have yoghurt on the All-Bran with some milk. Can't have toast as bread bloats me up. So I think I've got a bit of OCD there as well, distaffgran!

Meusli and soya yogurt every morning, served in bed with black coffee and the paper. But was only thinking this morning that it's been ages since I had a slice of toast. We always serve visitors croissants and beigels but that means I have to get up before breakfast.
Invariably natural yoghurt with fruit (banana/apricots/ stewed apple/blueberries) and oat bran cereal. Saves me from having to think about it - am not a morning person.

Raspberries blueberries, weetabix crunched up like topping and lemon yoghurt..
Porridge with dates or fat raisins most days, but today it was toasted bagel with scrambled eggs. Just luuurve porridge, even in summer!
Every which way with eggs from our hens or porridge with Greek yoghurt and a tiny drizzle of local honey. I can't function without breakfast. I always wake up starving.
Although Scots, I really loathe porridge. Used to be forced to eat it when on holiday at Granny's, thoughI did have the concession of being allowed to add sugar - Granny ate hers, in the traditional way, with salt. I think there's something about the texture of the stuff that makes me gag.

Weightwatchers yoghurt is all I have and I only have that because I have to take my meds with food. When I have them I might add blueberries or raspberrys. I really don't want to eat before about midday and also have to be very careful as I have extremely slow metabolism.
DH love the full heart attack b'fast when he gets the chance!

Sometimes multigrain toast with Marmite, honey or home-made marmalade or jam, sometimes yogurt. Always a piece of fruit.

Simple just toast and a cup of tea ! I'm easy to please
Porridge made with half-fat milk and a little water, over bottled cherries and sultanas. No sugar and very little salt. I like No-sugar Alpen but I can't find it in France. Most French cereals are very sugary, but I have found Weetabix.
Although I live in France, I hate croissants as I find the pastry too greasy.
In French hotels, I usually just have a piece of a baguette with some butter and a mere hint of jam (the only time I eat anything so sweet.
In Egypt last week, I ate far more than I do at home - some wholemeal bread with jam, a cheese omelette and fresh fruit salad.
In a UK hotel, I will have bacon and scrambled egg, with one round of toast and muesli if it is on offer.
Cereal bran bar and really good coffee!
Special K (no sugar) with full-fat milk and a mug of PG tips!
Only recently got into breakfasts but now I am 'retired' I do have one! tea x 3, home made fruit and plain soya yogurt smoothie or museli, fresh fruit and oatmilk & maybe toast and marmalade or croissant if it is late then I will skip lunch!
PG Tips! Wash your mouth out, nag and go and buy some Yorkshire Gold or even Waitrose Gold. Preferably loose leaf! [snob emoticon]
No posh supermarkets round her, Annobel! I have to make do with what the builders left....

Breakfast number one: coffee, quite milky (full cream milk), and a flapjack (homemade, about a third nuts and seeds).
Breakfast number two: doorstep slab of home-made bread with butter and marmalade, and another coffee as above.
Breakfast number three: bacon, egg, mushrooms, onion fry up.
Roll on dinner time

Oh, and sometimes (quite often) there's another coffee and flapjack in there somewhere.
Well, you do get up at an unfeasibly early hour, Bags!

It only sounds like a lot. I don't really eat a great deal. Very small evening meal for instance. I'm hungriest in the mornings.

Breakfast like an Emperor, lunch like a King and sup like a pauper, is my moto.
Porridge made with half milk, half water, some cut up dried apple and cranberries, and a spoon full of crushed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, almonds and linseed) - with a bit of cinnamon sugar and half-fat milk. Slow release GI, and keeps me going until about 2 when we have lunch.
