We are having a new three piece suite on Saturday. This morning our old suite was collected by a local charity. It was a dark red fabric one and it has left a couple of dark red lines on the wallpaper. DH doesn't fancy redecorating as it is a large room and the paper hasn't been up long. Any ideas for removing the marks? Thanks all.

I seem to remember something about stale bread, but could well be wrong.

Another one I've heard is a clean soft pencil rubber. Not tried it though.

wiki how says you can buy special cleaning stuff for wallpaper from hardware shops..can't say I've ever come across it myself. Have you got any of the wallpaper and the paint that you used so you could paint some and then test different things on it; of course, you''l have to go to the charity shop to rub it against your old suite hmm as well.

Thanks Tegan. Yes we have got some of the old paper. DH was on wikihow this morning so I assumed he had been looking for a remedy but he didn't come up with that one. I will tell him.
