... are to go on American TV to explain their relationship since the very beginning. They have stated that they love America and its peoples. I wonder if this is to pave the way for another King George.

I thought all this rubbish ended with Diana , I don't think they will do it , why do it , nothing to gain . Think the queen will need Valium , poor woman , and Phillip will have to be pulled off the ceiling

rosequartz Wed 11-Mar-15 12:06:42

Didn't King George lose us America in the first place?

Are they taking plenty of tea with them? grin

rosequartz Wed 11-Mar-15 12:09:51

This is all I can find, from which it seems the interview has already been filmed and will be shown in the US three days before the start of F & G's trip to Washington.

Those pictures are nice. Camilla gets more attractive by the day.

absentgrandma Wed 11-Mar-15 13:36:13

Having read the article I think you are reading much more into this than is actually there CR.

I have great admiration for the Duchess of Cornwall. Okay... she and HRH had an affair(relationship) when they were very young, HRH bottled it and went off on a Commonweatlh tour and when he came back- Camilla had probably though 'Well sod blow you Charlie, I've had a more positive offer' . This was the 60's don't forget, marriage was very important back then!So if there is any blame in this sad episode I'd lay it at numerous doors... HRH for being such a ditherer, the 2 grannies... the Queen Mum
and Lady Fermoy (princess Diana's granny) for being a pair of interferring old biddiesgrin and the 'Palace' machinery who grinds relentlessly on with outdated ideas and protocol..... or did. I think they might have had the reins of power gently removed lately.

The 'Diana's death theorists' are alive and well in the USA. I hope HRH can shoot some of them out of the sky (or the internet). They are a pain in the proverbial arse with their stupid adoration of a woman they didn't even know.
