After crashing his plane onto a golf course Harrison Ford was initially reported as being 'critically injured', but it seems that his injuries are now downgraded to 'serious'. His injury last year (on the set of the latest Star Wars film) was initially reported as an ankle 'injury' then as a broken ankle and finally it was revealed that he had actually broken his leg.
I hate to say it, but maybe at 72 my action man hero may need to stay at home more. wink
flowers (for Harrison)

Apparently, it's now a cut on his forehead! Why, therefore, was it second item on the news? confused

Goodness knows........... Desperate for news-worthy articles? If BBC think it's that important then they need to think again!

Yes - the eye-witness they interviewed seemed more interested in the plane than the potential injuries!

I hope his injuries are just superficial, just listened to the radio call he made to the airfield tower, he did sound scared.

An old style plane like that will glide quite well without power. From what I saw, most of the damage was done by his undercarriage (the plane's not his) collapsing due to the very soft ground. Probably lucky it did collapse, may have flipped over otherwise. From the reports, his injuries are minor.

Depressing to think that he's 72! There's something about the way they say "The 72 year old star" that makes it sound prehistoric!
