Looking at some of the words bandied about in a fairly cavalier manner on some of the politics threads, I wonder whether it might be useful to come to a consensus [hollow laughter emoticon] about some of the terms that appear frequently: socialist, social democrat, communist, fascist, left wing, right wing, Conservative/Tory, conservative, Labour, New Labour, Liberal Democrat, capitalist, monetarist, Keynesian, and probably quite a few others.

Anyone want to have a go. (I am to coping out. I have had a very busy and tiring Sunday and am about to start cooking dinner, but I will contribute my two penn'orth at some point.)

absent the above list would be my definition of dead boring. Sorry.

And I thought everyone knew you can't truly achieve consensus with more than two people smile, let alone dozens.

My rainy day Sunday is just starting.
