I would be Out if I was allowed to vote

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 08:01:50

Be proud VOTE REMAIN

annsixty Thu 23-Jun-16 08:04:40

If DC and BJ stood in front of Westminster and tossed a coin I think it would give as reliable a result as the vote. I have heard more people still not decided right up until today, that for many, conviction doesn't come into it, it will be a snap decision when they look at the voting paper. What a way to decide something so very very important.

I just have to post this. My !ovely cleaners are here. The older one had just asked the younger which way she is going to vote. Very firmly outshye said. When asked why she said other countries are allowed to fish "over our borders" and they are taking all our fish, and we aren't allowed to fish " over their borders " so I want to leave.
Says it all really.

WW, that is not going to encourage this undecided to vote Remain. It could definitely be counter productive to try nagging us.

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 08:35:31

I can naggrin

Liz46 Thu 23-Jun-16 08:35:43

Out.

If your undecided and a animal lover, read up on the eu's attitude to exporting live animals. Be warned, it's distressing.

Do what you think is the best option Kitty it's your choice.smile

Jane10 Thu 23-Jun-16 09:16:40

rosesarered Thu 23-Jun-16 09:32:20

rosesarered Thu 23-Jun-16 09:32:56

.....but it has absolutely nothing to do with the referendum.

whitewave Thu 23-Jun-16 09:35:03

Yes that's the point! As you seem cheesed off reading this thread.

Devorgilla Thu 23-Jun-16 09:52:22

Never had any doubt - Remain for me. Heading to Polling Booth shortly and then later, off to 'knock up'.

Indinana Thu 23-Jun-16 09:54:47

I hope people can read this - I'm afraid some of the text might be too small for smartphones.

moxeyns Thu 23-Jun-16 10:15:06

That's interesting, Indiana. I haven't seen anyone else make that argument.

moxeyns Thu 23-Jun-16 10:15:48

Indinana, sorry! (Archaeologist at heart, me smile )

annsixty, I heard a programme a week or so back which said voting out won't make any difference to the fishing situation because we have sold the fishing rights and if we want to take them back we would have to compensate the country we sold it to, which could be very expensive.

I voted in the seventies for a Common Market, not for this frightening scenario. If Turkey gets in we can expect even more immigration that we just can't cope with, and I am NOT a racist, just a realist. 'French economy in tatters, Spain with 25% unemployment (50% among the young - just imagine that one) and as for Greece .... being in the EU has done these countries the world of good clearly, and we are throwing money into this situation by the billion. We are a strong, talented, inventive and tolerant nation. We defeated Hitler almost alone, and we can certainly manage a few trade deals - only about 49% with the EU currently in any event, and we can just up our trade elsewhere. PLEASE vote out - we have a bright future, and can still be nice to the people of Europe - why not?

yummygran1 Thu 23-Jun-16 10:21:34

Very good point Indinana, I hadn't thought of it like that. I was thinking leave for a while, but couldn't bring myself to vote for anything Farage agreed with!
