OMG!! I knew I should have gone for a lie down. I agree with you again! In my very humble opinion, she was the obvious choice from the beginning.

She has been part of the enquiry but wasn't given the lead role because she hasn't got a legal background. I'm not a fan of Amber Rudd, but it appears she made the appointment.

Have we heard why that NZ woman resigned? Up in Scotland we've had several chairs of our survivors of abuse enquiry throw in the towel. They complained of excessive govt interference. I wonder what Lowell Goddard isn't saying?

She was out of her depth. She might have been a big fish in NZ but this was too big for her. Plus, she preferred to go on holiday too often which upset a lot of people.

A good choice, and it should have been her to start with!
