...an emoticon of something like a vacuum cleaner, or a washing machine, or a shopping bag, or a garden fork, or an axe/scythe (for Bags' use) for when we just have to leave an interesting discussion to actually get some jobs done.

You can have the roast chicken one back in exchange, as I have changed my mind about wanting that.

Thank you. smile

Hear hear! Would be very useful, if a little guilt-inducing blush. Never understood what the roast chicken was for confused

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 12:51:35

I asked for an emoti for when you have to break off conversation to get dinner. But I was only joking really. blush next thing it was there. (The roast chicken) No one uses it or knows what it's for, and it is a bit embarrassing. grin

I'm not joking this time though. smile

Ha! Whenever I see a new thread with a comment or request to HQ I always know who has started it. grin

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 12:52:22

But they are not likely to listen again.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 12:53:06

Thanks petallus! hmm grin

Butcher's cleaver? Or a vorpal sword?

Lona Wed 06-May-15 14:19:53

I think an emo of the three wise monkeys would be very useful.
It could be used on threads that get heated and maybe a bit personal, to say "I'm not reading this, not taking any notice and not commenting any more!"

wink The wink is for members with a sense of humour.

newist Wed 06-May-15 14:22:04

Or a good old fashioned chopper wink

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 14:41:47

Start yer own thread Lona! This one's mine, all mine Don't want to confuse 'em.

Lona Wed 06-May-15 15:38:13

Don't be mean jings it'll save HQ time if they don't have to multitask only have one thread to look at!

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 15:41:56

No! I'm sorry Madam. I'm having no interlopers. [stuck-up sniff]

They're not gonna look at it anyway. hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 06-May-15 15:42:46

You could always use this for yours.

janerowena Wed 06-May-15 23:20:35

hmm

I really want a delete button. And an edit button. And photos on every thread. And more smilies, like this one (if it works) i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm181/janeharrison/smilies/Smilies_Angry_Angrybig.gif

Ana Wed 06-May-15 23:27:59

That's not a smiley, it's a frownie! And an angry one at that...hmm

Nelliemoser Wed 06-May-15 23:46:50

Well jings! If you can order a roast chicken symbol for a "must leave to cook the dinner thread!", I demand GNHQ gives us vegetarian GNrs a nut roast emoticon.

grin

janerowena Thu 07-May-15 10:26:08

I know, ana, but I would like to be able to use it, it's much better than the gransnet one. grin And the sad one just looks like a pathetic blueberry.

What I would really, really like is a rolling eyes smiley.

Ana Thu 07-May-15 10:36:37

Yes, I do so agree janerowena, a rolling eyes smiley would be much better than the hmm one! grin

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 07-May-15 10:41:28

Nelliemoser it was just a lighthearted thing one weekend when our Julie was on. I think they must have had one knocking about in a drawer somewhere. smile

A veggie option was muted at the time.
