I caught this last night, sort of accidentally. But I'm so glad I did as it's really lovely, gentle and quirky.

I had recorded this and watched them last night, lovely, I really enjoyed it, pity it is on so late.

Sorry this has finished, but there will be another series. No sex, no violence, but an intelligent, gently humorous script.

I absolutely loved the series. All good comedy has to have that slight touch of melancholy imo. Some of the dialogue between Mackenzie Crooke and his girlfriend was so touching [especially liked the bit where he asked her to come home with him but had to ask her to drive]. It was a little gem of a series and I'm so pleased that there will be another one. I actually found my sons old metal detector in the loft last week so I may give it a go .
