So sad. There was a time when he was our regular companion on car journeys to keep littlest DD entertained. There can't be a 25-40 year old in the country who can't sing along to his title song.

Postman Pat, my favourite....even now I just hear the music and I quietly nod off just for 10 minutes. Then Oh what did Postman Pat do today? to DD

I remember driving up to Scotland regularly and there would be a point, (maybe Lancashire?) where the scenery would change to little stone wall edged fields and hills, always known to our DDs as Postman Pat country.
