IngredientsSome pork (I use 6 loin steaks/chops/wotevers; sausages would do)onion, chopped + garlic if you like it jar of herby pizza topping (or a can of chopped toms) can of beans (I usually use chickpeas but you can use anything), drained and rinsed ginger beer or apple juice apple, peeled and chopped salt and pepper to taste I might add some raisins or sultanas next time |

MethodPut the meat, onions, beans, apple and seasoning in an ovenproof dish that has a lid.Pour in the tomato sauce, then rinse out the jar or tin a couple of times with the ginger beer or apple juice, adding that too until you have just covered all the other ingredients. Put the lid on and shove it in an oven set at low for several hours/all day/till it's done. You might want to give it a stir now and then. |
