Ingredients

1 mug prune juice (not syrup)
1 mug dried fruit
1 mug self raising flour
1 mug all bran (that stuff like small twiglets)
pinch baking powder

Handy Hint

You can add mixed spice if liked. It's good on its own or with cheese. No need for butter, unless you really want to.

Method

soak the fruit and all bran in the prune juice for about an hour; mix in the flour and baking powder to a fairly stiff consistency; pop it in a greased, non stick fruit loaf tin and bake for around 25 minutes, 170 deg Celsius/gas mark 5. Less time is needed if using a fan assisted oven.
