I neither love nor hate Christmas but what I feel is irritation about the fuss and bother it causes. I'm especially irritated when it starts in September and goes on and on until it suddenly all stops on Boxing Day. Whatever happened to the twelve days? I like the bonhomie Christmas generates, but not the naked consumerism, the pressure it puts on everyone to buy...buy...buy.
