Well girls I hope you all enjoy your day out marching and flying all over the Country in your flying machines,I am staying home as I have decided that I am going to hibinate until the spring,but I will open a bottle of Champgane anytime and raise a glass.Its a wee bit drafty on my broomstick even though it is a suped up 4 x 4 2012 GT model.

I'll definitely pick you up, glass - along with your vuvuzela - perfect for rallying other grans from my bronzed chariot!

I am reminded -and not insulted because it made me smile- of a Matt cartoon a couple of years ago about a Pensioners' Protest, where the placards read:

"Why are we here?"

I would like a lift in the tardis, please? I've got the last batch of placards, another pair of handcuffs and a bike chain, and a flask of my home made soup. I'm going to put on extra thermals and socks, as it's rather parky out there today. I'm bringing my dog if you don't mind - I've been warming my hands up on her this morning, and she'll come in very handy if anyone starts feeling the cold tonight.
