I wouldn't call it cruel - more like mischief - but I do have 3 year old grandsons who occasionally forget to be polite e.g. 'no, that's stupid, nana!' Quickly followed by 'sorrreeeeeee, nana - cuddle!' accompanied by a grin that shows they are not sorry at all, but know how to play the game grin

I think the 4-year old deserves a discussion to himself and yes, cruelty means anything that is unnecessarily hurtful - now of course I think, when is anything necessarily hurtful. Oh dear. And then it comes over me all in a blink of an eye - perhaps that four-year-old .....

If that's the case, I may have to cite a certain four-year-old who sometimes cannot keep his tongue in his mouth....!

Does cruelty include:- sarcasm, patronisation, cheek, etc: from DCs?

Is it not time we started a N.Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Grandparents - we must be the only group not to have any recognition.
