Now remember it is "Virtual" I don't want you knocking on my door in the morning.. (do read the small print below) grin

small print>>>>>>>> "this is a "Virtual" not real £500 " (unfortunatly) sad

but "enjoy the spend" grin

Is it okay to pop it into the travel-to-spend-time-with-grandson-fund-box? If so, thanks ever so much. grin

A weekend away being pampered for a change, thank you Biker xx

Weekend somewhere like Stratford with a couple of theatre visits and a really nice dinner or two thrown in.
Or Spa Day (weekends can be a bit pricey) with any/all of 3 DDs.

Sad realisation is that £500 doesn't buy all that much any more. Unlike the virtuous jeni I plan to feature on the receiving end [selfish ] emoticon, although I am prepared to share!!!

I would use it to pay someone to do a few of those jobs around the house and garden that I can't do, and am fed up waiting for DH to get round to!
I'd feel so much better. (And so would DH because I wouldn't have to keep 'reminding' him) grin

Nonu Fri 02-Nov-12 17:51:03

Thanks * biker*. I think I'll spend it on a refurb for my spare room so my grandchildren will enjoy some chirpy decor, and some new bathroom accessories like a towel/radiator rail and colourful towels smile
