Haha! Love it Bridgeit perhaps best I stick to my book then (although to be honest it’s a bit boring which is why I’m on here!).

Well Urmstongran , I needed a drop of the strong stuff to calm me down ??????

I thought there was a watershed for a reason. Far too graphic for earlier in the evening.

I don’t watch any soaps (only because I love reading so much) but isn’t this violence a bit much before the 9pm watershed - or doesn’t that count any more?

I don't think you can connect it with the horrific teenage stabbings happening at the moment.

Gonegirl Mon 04-Mar-19 20:37:09

She stabbed him. The one with the knife got stabbed himself.

Will have to wait and see how they handle it from now on.

Love it Bridgeit might a suggest a drop more water with it in future?

Sorry I really wasn’t being mean! You truly made me giggle having 3 attempts. ???

Ohhps even worse she may have stabbed him, either way it’s too early for this sort of violence.

Bridgeit Mon 04-Mar-19 20:22:31

Ohhps Title should say Too Graphic not to graphic !?

I Don’t watch it often , but just turned on only to see the graphc stabbing of the character Shona by her on screen son on Coronation Street, mainstream T.V between 7.30 & 8 pm.
I do wonder if T.V imatates reality as programme makers say it does OR does it normalise & promote it?
Personally I think it’s wrong, lots of youngish children are still up at this time , & I’m sure that a lot of parents would not have been expecting this level of violence so early in the evening.?Goal posts are being moved Imo!
