Actually no. It's just more unnecessaryplastic. But I wouldn't want to see all balloons banned. The odd one or two for someone's birthday is nic.

Hard to know where to draw the line with this plastic thing.

I saw a cow in a field once, choking on a piece of plastic sacking the farmer had obviously left carelessly about. I know two wrongs don't make a right though. Perhaps it's ok so long as it's nowhere near the coast.

Just that really. It makes me really angry.

If someone pulled up at the side of the toad and tipped a box-full of uninflated balloons out of their car onto the verge, they could, quite rightly, be prosecuted. Why is releasing them into the sky still allowed when it is just as bad for the environment?
