I've bought very pretty rainbow wool from Wilkinsons . Bit of a surprise as I went in to buy a wheelbarrow. They also have good kits for children -masks to make and a tote which I bought.

I got some yummy yarn in The Works on Friday. It's soft baby yarn in colours for boys or girls. I got turquoise and white for grandson, and a mixture of pink, green and blue for granddaughter. Only £1.49 for 100g.

Ooh, a 99p shop, better still!!
You will get a penny change there.
They will soon mount up if you save them. They might even sell wool too....

No Poundland nearby. The old pound shop closed 2 years ago but last week noticed a large ,shiny new '99p Shop' in the local shopping centre.

Poundland has some nice DK wool in black or white with a silvery thread running through it, at only 50p a ball as it is buy one get one free at the mo.
It would make a lovely evening shrug or shawl or the white one could be worn with a summer dress.
Worth a look if you are a keen knitter. Let me know what you think!
