Help quick and easy pattern needed

Wait and see what they want for the new baby and make a non-knitted contribution. Don't try to compete with the other gran.

Chunky Wool + Chunky Pins.

Cast on -say 60 stiches. Knit 5 rows plain.
Then continue in Stocking stitch ( 1 row plain, one row purl ) for 50 rows
but with the first 5 stitches and last 5 always plain in every row to create a border.

Last 5 rows (55 to 60) all plain again. Cast off.

Eh Voila! One small blanket to tuck into a push chair or over a car seat, which may well become a 'comfort blanket' in the future.

Easiest thing I know and very nice if you choose a smashing wool.
No excuses necessary for late start - tell them you were waiting to see if baby was boy or girl.

Baubles - I've never used circular needles. Is there a special technique.?

Ah lluvcruz, I should have checked that particular pattern! I used a pair of ordinary needles. YouTube has loads of tutorials which are really useful.
