Black ink line drawing with colour wash

Do any of you do this sort of thing?? I'm not sure what the proper term for it is. I used to use Indian ink with a pen but I guess this is outdated now. Can anybody help me on the right track as to what to use?. I am OK with the painting bit.

I have done lots of these -so quick and instant.I use gel pens for the line drawings . They are available at most stationers in varied thicknesses.
I'll try to post some in 'Pictures'

I still use indian ink and rotring pens of various thicknesses but have never tried the colour wash - sorry but wouldn't know what to suggest otherwise.
