I'm currently knitting a bedspread, at the current rate of progress destined to be finished some time in the 2020s, so have had to file the link away for future use

Having read the link I just had to have a go with a circular needle and have successfully created the trefoil knot.

The problem now is what does one do with a knitted trefoil knot?

Intriguing - my OH always waxes lyrical about entropy when I am knitting or crocheting!
