Hope Mum is being kind to herself as well!

Galen Tue 15-Apr-14 22:56:58

She's almost three! Mum is still co-sleeping and breast feeding the two of them!

There is a simplicity pattern (2279) but I am not sure if it is available here and it includes a lot of other things too.

Couldn't you make it a hanger out of a box so that it can "park" in it on the bedside table overnight? Then it would be all rested and ready to fly off on another adventure in the morning.

(Says she who scoured the racks in the DIY shops to find a screwdriver short and blunt enough for DS1 to take with him everywhere during one of his particularly trying phases)

There's no guarantee that she'd agree to the substitute, either! She probably likes the 'hardness' of her present toy - poor Mum, though...

How old is she? Could you cut a simple paper pattern first if she is very young and not yet too discriminating?

I have tried everywhere for a pattern to cut out to make and sew a stuffed aeroplane for DGD. She insisted on taking a metal F111 to bed and as she co sleeps with darling daughter, darling daughter finds it hard to roll over onto.
