Survey of the stretched generation

(90 Posts)
GeraldineGransnet (GNHQ) Wed 11-Jul-12 08:54:39

Does the stretched generation exist? Are you part of it? We're running a survey to find out what pressures are facing women over 50 and what we'd most like to kick up a fuss about wink

Please help by taking 5 minutes to fill in some answers here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/W225R5W
It would be useful to have as many contributors as possible, no matter what your views, and you could win a £50 Amazon voucher if your username is drawn out of a hat.

Hi - thanks for all the responses so far. At the end of the survey it should take you to the Gransnet home page. Best, Ann

done - although it didn't fit me exactly. I have grandchildren one day a week in their home so that day is 'write off' and I volunteer for a whole day per week, so that, too, is a day when I don't look after anyone else, but on other days I do more of a spread of things.

POGS, your response was received fine.

Thanks all for filling out!

I think it has gone but seems to have disappeared from my screen and did not receive a completed message, gnhq have you got it?

I did mine and it left me a bit depressed as it reminded me of the logistical nightmare coming in August when DGS and DGD1 both start primary school but at schools five miles apart with the same start and finish times. Meanwhile, DGD2 will start nurseryschool 9.00 to 11.15am daily and our second vehicle (big old white van) has failed its MOT and must be scrapped. Both our daughters have erratic work patterns so problems will not arise everyday but we will need to be 'on-call' during school hours every weekday.
