I have written fewer than 12,000 words of a novel, but have a lot of the summer off and hope to get much more done, exceeding 50,000 by the end of NaNoWriMo.

SirKevin Hope you make it by NaNoWriMo. You don't have long.

I've attempted Nanowrimo twice and failed to make it to the end of the challenge. I'm a writing lightweight, no stamina for anything longer than a long short story! I can write intensely for several days but then I loose the plot! I love writing but stick to short stories when writing fiction. Good luck to anyone taking the challenge this year!
