Would anyone else admit to the fact that they sit down in the bath whilst having an overhead shower, can't be bothered standing....having struggled to get into the bath and get out......Grief I'm only 63

I can't remember the last time I had a bath. I certainly would ever get up again if I sat in the bath. Our shower head is fully adjustable for height and angle so with your back to it hair washing is simple. The head detaches from the bracket so can be hand held to wash "bits" and feet are washed by resting each of them on the side of the bath.
Easy peasy tchsmile

I find it easier washing my hair when sitting on a stool. My balance is not 100% so it is safer for me. Showers every time. For me to get in a bath would be like the sinking of the Titanic and getting out is almost impossible because of the metal in my lower limbs stops me from bending as I would like.

Being lucky enough to have both a bath and separate shower I rarely get in the bath and certainly don't wash my hair in it - the water would be everywhere! We took the bath out of the main bathroom and put a large walk in shower in it's place. I don't think my other half has had a bath since - he would definitely struggle to get up grin

I hate showers, other than for hair washing.
I'm a bubble bath lover, just like OlderNoWiser, add a good book and that's me sorted.

Usually shower, but I do love a hot bath, lots of bubbles and a good book. This happens rarely now though, and I do have trouble getting out, so I get in, turn round, go onto my knees and sort of slither onto my backside. Then reverse when getting out. I am looking forward to a shower when the dressing comes off my knee, but our shower is an over the bath sort, so will have to figure out the knee bending angle firstconfused. Meanwhile the good old fashioned way, strip wash at the sink grin

I shower every morning and find I can wash my feet quite adequately (despite arthritis) by putting plug in bath and paddling .I place a sponge in and squelch it around my toes so they are clean as well .Hope this helps .
