Three positive things today

Did a pile of ironing;
Didn’t get upset when the cake I made turned out to be a disaster.
Took DD out for an early dinner as she is on her own this weekend, and had a walk around the botanical gardens to round off the evening - smell of roses and other scented plants was wonderful. Lots of interesting stuff. Just managed to make it out before we had to climb over the gates .

I can do a forth thing - cooked the steak perfectly!

Nice sunshine encouraged new cosmos daisy flowers to open.
Ate lunch outside
Started my new book club book - am enjoying it - about the Balkans - the Tiger’s Wife.

Collected the book I had reserved from the library a few weeks ago. Afternoon sorted.
Managed to repair the piece of wood in the hall/living room doorway. (DH had given up).
Found out I still fit into last summer’s trousers.

Got the grass cut, finally bought my bedding plants and the sun shone all day.
