I was prompted to google the above and was really surprised to see one of these locally in a very affluent town near where I live in Yorkshire.
I was impressed by their website and decided I could help in a small way.

Every time I go to the supermarket, I buy something, just one or two things at a time and put them in a box. A tin of mince, a couple of tins of beans, pease, vegetables, cooking oil, gravy browning, Every six weeks or so I take it to the Charity HQ. A pound or two on top of my shopping is not missed and it helps them a lot.

Have a google and see if you can help.

There is one of these foods near to where my daughter lives. I was shocked to see that they are still necessary in this day and age.

A good thing though.

I think the government should have a homeless project - build more council houses!

We were just talking last night - the post war prefabs were great; quick and cheap to build, but very easy to live in. Huge blocks of flats can be horrible to live in if the neighbours are noisy/criminal/druggies etc. so they are not always the answer to housing shortages.
