Best place to buy nice candles?

We're having some friends over from a very long time ago and need to make our dinner table look lovely and interesting as my food skills are not up to much (putting it mildly )

So i was thinking some nice candles might spice the table up and make it all look a bit less amateur - any good ideas of where to go?

I don't really know anywhere good apart from Ikea and there is no way i can face that palaver - online would be best
