from Gransnet, had a skirmish with a very large HGV on a roundabout and have been out of action for a few weeks but I'm back now able to access the 'puter.

I did consider reregistering as a new person!!

yes, it was nasty, my little car is a write off and I was very lucky not to be!

Thanks for the kind words of welcome, car is kaput and have been out today looking at replacements - the nightmare of patronising car salesmen.......

I want the old one back, even if it has no front to it!

and now this weekend a house full of visitors, elderly father and his 'girlfriend', younger son and his 'girlfriend' a great weekend of shopping and cooking for me!

I am pleased to see them but do get slightly miffed when expected to go to work, then arrive home an produce a cordon bleu dinner at the drop of a hat before 6pm!

I have cheated this time and prepared a huge beef and guiness casserole - may not be what they are expecting but it will save me lots of time!
