My darling grandson is yet to be born - but I spent a lot of time with his mum and dad over Easter. I can't wait to meet him in a few weeks time

My darlings were climbing up a rope triangle this morning and will be zip-wiring later today after Grandad has had his snooze.

At least he wasn't waving one of those one handed chainsaws that lumberjacks like to terrify everyone with.

My DGC were active too.....on egg hunts in the garden, even the teenager ( was outraged when I suggested he may be a bit old for it.)

My DGS2 had all the family running around our campsite being robot powered.

Easter egg hunt in the morning
Then in afternoon a Super-soaker fight in our garden.
Children and adults soaked to the skin.
Grandad won.
Only because he decided to turn on the hosepipe. ?

merlot I did wonder about getting him to do a bit of tree surgery whilst he was at it. Probably a good thing I didn't.

Adorable every one. Mine went to the Auckland Museum with two of his step-sibling who live down south so have never see the museum.

I spent the day with my son, chatting, laughing, eating, discussing everything from Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, a subject we are both very interested in - to some of the cases on Gransnet which make me sad but very grateful at the same time.
