Ernest Blanc, French opera singer, his voice sent shivers up and down my spine, especially in Tales of Hoffman.

Absolutely top of my list has to be Freddie Mercury.
But then Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart,
And these days, James Blunt, Ed Sheeran, Andrea Bocelli.

Callistemon - OMG you remember Long John Baldry? Nobody knows that name nowadays. Greatest blues singer this country produced. Remember seeing him sing with a very young Rod Stewart at the Marquee several times.

Actually, I never realised that Rod Stewart was probably singing too, only had eyes for Long John Baldry

I think that Reg Dwight also called himself Elton John, the John being in honour of Long John.
