I've bought an Alexa and sometimes dance around the living room. I go for a walk every other day, read, knit and do jigsaws. When hubby's done all he can of the crossword I take over. I also phone a friend/daughter/one of the grandchildren for a chat. Some days something simple like a shower with some luxury products. Anything I fancy really that makes me happy on that day

Guess I'm just blessed with the power of positive thinking - so far anyway! I am the half full glass type in general. Also the things I have to be glad about far outweigh the others. One S calls me regularly for long chats and the other sufficiently for me to know he is fine. Have some zoom calls with groups and individual and various telephone calls with other friends and family members. Try for a daily riverside walk but not this week as treacherous underfoot. Current insanity is watching for postie in the hope she has my jab appointment letter. Oh yessss....... When all this socialising abates I sometimes turn my hand to the odd bit of domesticity. Then......my pleasure goes downhill fast!!

Various types of craftwork keep me sane whilst indoors.

It’s my walk every day that’s keeping me going fresh air and a different view.

It’s a beautiful day here although icy underfoot but can feel that Spring is on it’s way which has made me feel more positive. Sorting out old photos and labelling them, new recipes and Netflix!

Walking, meal planning and trying 3 new recipes a week.
Bread making, lots of cleaning and the sewing machine will come out if things get desperate!

Lots and lots of feel good TV and art and crafts. Oh, and feeding the ducks on the river that runs past my window. They know me now and speed swim / fly in if they see me.

When I feel depressed I put my wellies on and have a walk round the garden. The daffodils are beginning to poke through and I counted 4 snowdrops today. And the nights are getting lighter. ?

Definitely running out of steam here & apart from the obvious things like seeing friends and family again, I just want Spring to come so I can get out in my garden again.

I like heart radio I am 64 but still think I am young!

I have just switched radio stations for the day from Classic FM which I love but it can get gloomy. I'm on Gold London now lots of upbeat dance type tunes from 70s and 80s- very jolly and I know all the words.

I think we have done well so far as a family keeping occupied during this pandemic. However I am get messages from friends and they all seem to be running out of steam. Running out of ideas to stop feeling down I am curious what keeps everyone going?
