We have been trying to sell this through various means with no luck. It's only been riden 2-3 times. It is suitable for 6-7 y.o. Would be intersted to know what you think is a fare price. Thanks.
Have you tried your local Gumtree? Selling is fairly idiot proof - I can manage it! I have looked on my local site for the price range. The average for a bike in very good condition is £40-50. But are they still for sale because they are asking more than anyone is willing to pay? I don't know. There is always the Ebay collection only option. The auction could achieve a higher price, as long as you set the starting price at the least you would accept. Good luck!
shysal we have tried FB sell page, local free ads, local newsagent, and gumtree. Been trying for a couple of months. We were asking £30 reduced to £20. Had a couple of no shows. I would give it away to a friend or relative. H wants it gone from the garage. Very frustrating.
If you end up giving it away - our local tip has a shop which takes bikes (amongst other things) which are then sold in aid of AgeUK. I`m sure other areas will have similar
If you are giving it away, have you thought of asking a local school if there is a child who would otherwise never own a bike. We had quite a few children in our school whose parents could hardly afford to feed and clothe them. let alone buy a bike.
Marydoll, that's a lovely thought, hope it works. I volunteer in a charity shop, and we quite often get bikes donated. They usually go very quickly, as they are sensibly priced. Hope you find a home for it soon.
