My youngest daughter and I still love One Foot in the Grave. We’ve seen them all dozens of time’s, but we still roar with laughter.

More recently, I’ve loved The Detectorists.

The Good Life, Absolutely Fabulous, Only Fools, The Office, Extras, Outnumbered, Terry and June. I think they all class as sitcoms.
Not sure Detectorists was a sitcom, though I loved it.

MissAdventure Thu 05-Dec-19 17:48:13

Its hard to choose just one.

Only fools and horses, I think, for me, but I really love One foot in the grave, too.

MissAdventure Thu 05-Dec-19 17:53:17

Oh, just remembered!
I was a latecomer to it, but I loved 'Still Game' (I think that's what it was called)

KatyK Thu 05-Dec-19 17:57:45

Man about the House (those fashions and the lovely Richard O'Sullivan) was my all time favourite. I loved Good Life too.

MamaCaz Thu 05-Dec-19 18:02:51

I couldn't narrow it down to just one favourite, but certainly Only Fools and Horses and Blackadder are up there at the top for me.

ayse Thu 05-Dec-19 18:35:57

Yes Minister, Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, To the Manor Born and others that have been mentioned. I never did see Only Fools ......

Jane10 Thu 05-Dec-19 19:31:21

Frasier, Father Ted, Derry Girls - I could go on...

fatgran57 Thu 05-Dec-19 21:11:18

Loved Chance in a Million with Simon Callow and Brenda Blethyn, Shelley with Hywel Bennett, One Foot in the Grave now seems like a documentary of parts of my life and my absolute favourite must be Gavin and Stacey - superb cast and acting.

gulligranny Thu 05-Dec-19 21:47:21

Definitely Gavin & Stacey, totally brilliant. Of the older sitcoms, I loved Butterflies, The Good Life, Ever Decreasing Circles and Watching (greatly underrated IMHO), but my all-time favourite is The Fall & Rise of Reginald Perrin, Leonard Rossitter was simply wonderful and it was just so clever.

JessK Thu 05-Dec-19 21:58:36
