Often read posts from BradfordLass72 and enjoy them very much. Haven't seen any posts from her for several days, hope she is alright.

Sorry if this is out of order don't mean to upset anyone.

I too have missed her.
Have you tried to PM her?

Rufus2 Wed 29-Jan-20 07:07:50

Not a bit of it! It's only natural to form a liking for a poster by virtue of their interests, "manner", style etc and just as natural to form dislikes of their opposites.
Several 'livewires" at my 91st virtual birthday bash 2 years ago seem to have fallen off their perches or been re-incarnated under a new name "Oopsadaisy, " Jalima", "PECS"
Wherefore art thou?.

Anyone heard of Bijou, our oldest!?

dragonfly46 Wed 29-Jan-20 13:12:22

I must say I have missed her posts too and was wondering yesterday where she was.

whywhywhy Wed 29-Jan-20 13:12:34

How long does a poster need to be on this site before anyone misses them? Months? Years?

Elegran Wed 29-Jan-20 13:18:48

Long enough for people to get to know and like them - the same as when you catch the same bus as a stranger every morning. Some posters, like some bus passengers, reach that point sooner than others.

whywhywhy Wed 29-Jan-20 15:38:25

Elegran thanks for your reply. Xx

JackyB Wed 29-Jan-20 15:44:11

She makes sensible comments on popular threads so her name pops up a lot. I don't think she has actually been around for very long.

We know that she lives in New Zealand and has very poor sight.

Has anyone tried a PM?

Iwastoldtheredbecake Wed 29-Jan-20 15:46:45

lemongrove Wed 29-Jan-20 16:54:50

Hetty58 Wed 29-Jan-20 20:52:58

Bradfordlass commented on the 'Piers Morgan' thread on the 14th January. (How do I know? I searched her name in the search box at the top, then put the results in date order. Maybe she's having a break from GN?

BradfordLass73 Wed 29-Jan-20 21:46:51

I'm still here and thanks for the PMs and emails received, very kind and thoughtful of you all flowers

Haven't been posting or even coming to GN since, as Hetty said, 14th because my eyes are playing up.

As they get worse, there's only a limited amount to time I can tolerate online and I've had to be aware that essental things at home had to come first.

I've also had my grandson to stay and some birthday parties to organise.

I'll do my best to stay in touch.

Meanwhile, I'm having my birthday dinner tonight at a local Japanese restaurant.

Happy Birthday Bradfordlass!
???

Auntieflo Wed 29-Jan-20 22:25:19

Happy birthday BradfordLass73.

I should have come back on here and let all your fans know that you were/ are OK, as I PM'd BL73 this morning.
But I was out all day, and only realised that I had received a reply from her, on my return.

Nice to know that lots of folk care about someone enough to enquire after them.

Grammaretto Wed 29-Jan-20 22:39:07

Happy Birthday Bradford Lass!.

Urmstongran Wed 29-Jan-20 22:40:56

Would like to add my congratulations and wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY BradfordLass!
