I know we all grew up talking about going to the chemist and it has always been Boots the chemist. But my DH qualified as a pharmacist, not a chemist, and has described himself as such for over 50 years.

I remember pupils becoming students. The instruction Telling us to refer to them as such was included in a “bulletin”, I jokingly commented to someone that it was load of b...... turns out that was the very person who had decided this, he was as they say “not amused” So I’d guess that happened in about 2010?
