It is registered as a charity but I can’t quite work out if they are doing something that I would like to support.
Are they simply replicating what the food bank is already doing or are they addressing families with longer term problems?

They take leftover food from supermarkets and distribute it to charities. The organisation where I used to volunteer got stuff from Tesco but we packed it in after a while as nearly everything was from the bakery and we just couldn’t use half of it. I could never fathom out why Tesco overproduced so many croissants!

The collect from our local Coop shops and distribute to local charities like Homeless and Rootless and the Foodbank.

It's the charity that has Marcus Rashford's support.
My son collects from 3 local supermarkets and takes produce to the depot for distribution. Far more than surplus croissants!

Thanks for that information. They obviously need to raise funds for fuel etc.
