Ha ha. Love this thread. I have three, I'll be brief
I have in the course of my job been in thousands of peoples homes, many of them on more than one occasion.
My first incident was at house I had visited many times but had had a gap of a year or two since the last visit. All the family were gathered cooing over the new baby. I said “I'll just wash my hands then” and turned to the kitchen door which lead to a small utility room. Only it didn't now. It was a walk in larder. The family sat open mouthed. “What's she doing in the pantry?” asked a stunned granny.
The second was when a patient I was attending to needed some item from the bathroom. I said I would get it and where's the bathroom. She told me and I skipped up the stairs and flung open the (wrong door) to collect the item. Only to be faced with her husband, stark naked. He had decided to put on smarter clothes for my visit (???). I was honoured, I think
The third was me and my patient, 5 days after the birth of her baby. She needed stitches out. We went upstairs to the bedroom. She lay on a towel on the bed, no knickers and legs akimbo. I was perched on my knees peering closely at her nether regions. We slowly became aware of a movement at the window. There, chamois in hand and a blank look on his face was the window cleaner.
