It wasn’t one thing tbh.
I was a member there for almost 10 years but kept breaking talk guidelines.
Had 2 temporary bans ( 1 week I think? ) and was on a final warning.
I don’t think I was any worse than a lot of people over there, I just got reported more ? - but I still read MN now & again & find it funny at times ( although not as funny as it used to be ) but I don’t miss it now. Definitely moved on. ( 58 with 3 grandchildren I’m not really their target audience )

I’ve never been banned from anywhere else I hasten to add, been on here for ages no problem. Netmums for years no problem, same with FB.

Me too.. I've been crying with laughter at times, at some of the topics.

I've never explored the other place. Might it be a bit too fierce for me, possibly? (I hate conflict).

Is the ‘ other place’ Mumsnet? I go there sometimes....different name. Usually though, by the time I get the threads, they’re already pages long...and I can’t be bothered.
