Winter fuel payment

I ve just realised I haven’t had a winter fuel payment payed into my bank should I have had it by now ?
Is it still the same amount ?

You should have had a letter telling you about it by now. Mine was paid in a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, I received a letter and then a couple of weeks ago my £200 was deposited in my bank.

Oops! Just checked my bank again and it dropped in November 12th I never noticed.

BlueBelle, I received my letter weeks before my payment was received. DH got his before me?
It will come, so keep checking your bank.

Had mine about a fortnight ago. The letter said to let them know if it hadn’t arrived by January.

Who gets these winter fuel payments? Are you to be over a certain age? Or have certain criteria? I'm only 56.

If not received by 14th January 2022, call 0800 731 0160 or go onto Winter Fuel Payments Centre and complete e Mail form.

Hope it arrives before then though.

Thanks a lot calendargirl perhaps they do it alphabetically i m not at the back but halfway
I just thought I d always got it in November before
