How many times have you sent a text without checking the spelling? Heavens the texts I've hit the button on too quickly, once told my daughter I have her son on the wine, he was 10 at the time

Here it's always 'in the conservative' for conservatory!

When I post on the Good Morning thread from Durham - my phone says Dubai! If only!

Isn’t it predictive text?

There's a joke on Facebook about this, it's a photo of a scholar saying his teacher said not to worry about spelling because of predictive text - and he'll be ever grapefruit.

That’s what I always thought MrsK. Thanks for being brave enough to mention it.

I don’t understand why it comes up with such weird things! I question my own sanity sometimes and worry that I did actually type it.

Ah well, we all knew what the OP meant MrsKen.
I try and remember to check before I press the button, trouble is my thoughts are faster than my fingers and often don’t, hence nearly ordering 11 water butts today!

Perhaps the predictive text changed it to predicted text? ?

I always check as the predictive text comes up with all sorts of nonsense.

Grannybags Sat 20-Aug-22 17:11:03

Mine keeps changing "well" to "we'll" when it doesn't make any sense at all!

This made me smile.
( And I’d say it’s ‘predictive’ too)
